“Food is sexy, it’s kinky”

Food is such a big part of my life, so it’s no surprise that other parts of me spill into that pot too. I’m naturally hospitable, always trying to make someone feel at home (usually by stuffing their most hated foods down their throat :). Hosting a dinner party or a game night & just turning it into a complete experience is probably my secret passion.

I love creating moods by way of food. A dish can be many different things— one for one person & a completely different experience for another. Food is sexy, it’s kinky, it’s wild & experimental— I love that. It can be as simple, or as deviant as you see fit.

“A collective hub of real, kinky, food content”

Speaking of kink, that’s the plan for thekinkycook.com. This is the hub for Curated Kink x The Kinky Cook fetish boutique, my kinky memoirs, foodnotes/recipe cards, travel, kinky cultivation’s, dinner party/cookout info & any culinary services I’ll be offering at the moment. This is my blog, my journal, & hopefully a front row peek behind my apron…. It’s more than just food.

The Cooks Kinks:

  • I love fluidly in Cincinnati, Ohio.

  • I am 31

  • Free flowing energy, emotions & love

  • I’m a bit of a voyeur & exhibitionist

  • I’m curious when it comes to EVERYTHING. There really isn’t anything I won’t try

“I don’t identify with the word Chef”

& I don’t— I’m a seasoned cook at best. I watched my OGs in the kitchen & always had delicious food around me, but I can never remember actually helping out. I don’t ever remember the feeling of dough in my hands or remember having to brush flour off my shirt. I would sit, & I would watch. OG had a designated chair right by the kitchen door just for that. I soaked up so much knowledge just observing; watching how she moved, how she held a knife, how she’d skillfully & gently dropped pats of doughy dumplings into a delicious homemade chicken slurry for one of my all time favorite meals… a lot of my culinary finesse came from that woman.

Observing for years made me curious, I wanted to explore food for myself. Food Network was a daily ritual. I watched Emeril Lagasse faithfully. Honestly he heavily influenced my style of cooking. I remember Mr. “BAM” debuting his spice collection on his show & it intrigued me enough to raid our own pantry as a preteen & create my own blends. I loved spices. By around 11 I was pretty familiar with the basic elements recipe building, one of the first real meals I made— Reuben Chicken with sauteed squash & zucchini & potatoes… Since then, it’s been non-stop. Food has been one of the only constants in my world.
