Insatiable Sunday Highlight 5.26.19
Hey Kinksters & those curious (insert devious emoji here),
Just checking in, how are y'all doing? It's a Monday & I'm sitting here typing this post unfortunately from my desk at work. *sigh* no worries... this 3 year plan WILL pay off. You guys probably wont see this till Sunday.
Insatiable Sunday was so dope, minus a few folks showing up late & getting a late start— everything went so well. I really can not wait for the next events of its kind. I'm already plotting for the future. Keep in mind though for those anxious to attend the next, that at the moment there isn't a cover for these events. So everything is on me to provide & it definitely isn't cheap! I’m moving as fast as my wallet can.
Here's a little background info about Insatiable Sunday's: The goal for these intimate dinner’s is to mesh the things I love most: sensuality, service & exceptional food. I want this to be an experience, a KINKY one especially. I want people to leave feeling more satiated than they arrived, but still hungry for more.
The night kicked off upon guests arrival; a charcuterie board (have y'all ever had whipped black truffle goat cheese spread onto a crisp crostini with speck & other assorted meats? ohhhh, it was decadent af) & drinks led the evening.
Our special guest Urban, life coach & kinkster herself (you can find her on Facebook: Cancerian Verb Solstice or on IG @urbankinkster), led an amazing kink themed workshop, it was so engaging & informative, she definitely had the everyone in the palm of her hand.
She brought along various items for purchase & to also demonstrate their purpose. The workshop was followed by a few impact play scenes (the guests EAGERLY volunteered to get paddled & flogged in front of their audience) I won't lie, I'm a bit of a voyeurist so following my paddling I felt such a euphoric feeling wash over me. It was like my body was tingling all over, in the best way possible. She knows exactly what she's doing with her tools of choice in hand.
During the workshop guests 1 by 1 snuck off & received an amazing massage from in-house licensed massage therapist Brittny of Essential Oasis Massage (find her on IG @ essential_oasis_massage) she was wonderful & comes highly recommended! To my surprise she even engaged in our kinky convo & shocked the hell out of me!
Literally you find kink in the most unassuming. It was really dope.
As I said earlier, dinner was kicked off with a few impact play scenes before guests sat down to feast. I prepared a spread of baked Striped Sea Bass & also grilled Red Snapper. The sea bass was Indian inspired & before it went into the oven it was generously coated with a blend of yogurt & bold spices, the snapper was simply grilled after being stuffed with herbs, garlic, onion & other aromatics. My god, the fish was flaky & juicy af. I also made chicken kabobs that were prepared in a similar way to the sea bass — marinated in yogurt, with minced garlic, saffron & cumin... the flavors were out of this world. A simple mixed green salad & spiced potatoes served as our sides. As guests ate & laughed, I got to work on dessert. I had a few requests to make my peach cobbler (food note coming soon) but I decided to prepare it with a twist. I made a deconstructed peach cobbler. I won't hold yall.. this plate was amazing. From the presentation to the taste, literally it was fucking amazing. Even a guest who does't like peach cobbler AT ALL is now a believer. Y'all I surprised my damn self with this one. My flakiest crust to date too. It's all in the technique... that I will for sure share soon!
After dessert I said goodbyes to a few guests & our lovely masseuse & for those left we communed on the rooftop patio that overlooked OTR for a post dinner smoke & then settled down for more drinks, conversation & kinky games. It was a whole vibe.
I'm extremely proud of myself & since 5.26.19 I feel like I've been on a high. I absolutely can't wait for the next. I'll keep you guys updated on my plans for the next event.
